IMPORTANT CONTRIBUTIONS

There are several important Lyme disease funds
that could definitely use your support.

from contributions to any of the below funds.

LYME AID 4 KIDS:
The Lyme Disease Association (LDA), in collaboration with best-selling author Amy Tan, has a fund designed to be used by families with no insurance who need to have their children properly evaluated for possible Lyme disease. The fund is administered by the LDA through individual treating physicians nationwide who agree to participate, and right now the priority is to get children properly diagnosed as early as possible. Tax deductible donations for the fund can be made payable to: Lyme Disease Association, Inc. and please note LymeAid4Kids on your check memo or letter. Please mail to:

LYME DISEASE ASSOCIATION:
The Lyme Disease Association is always in need of donations to continue advocating on behalf of Lyme disease patients. The LDA is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization that has raised over one million dollars for Lyme disease research, prevention, and education. The LDA has funded research projects from coast to coast and has had a number of its funded projects published in peer-reviewed literature. Additionally, along with the Greenwich LD Task Force, the LDA is funding the first research center for chronic Lyme disease in the country (at Columbia University Medical Center). By request, donations can be earmarked for specific funds such as Lyme Disease education, Tick-borne Disease research, or the Columbia University Lyme Disease Endowment fund.
